Over the years life has taught me several nuggets of wisdom. One of the major truths I have discovered is that fear creates more fear. In other words, it expands exponentially. The currrent world economic situation is a great example of this fear induced frenzy. Yes, indeed, there are real problems in the world today that need attention from governments, communities, and individuals. However, when the decisions are based upon fear based choices, they become a reaction instead of a carefully planned action. A chaotic reaction never produces the optimal results that a throughtful, well planned action will create.
When I first turned on my computer to check emails not so long ago, the first thing I saw was yet another article announcing a huge drop in the stock market that day. There was no specific reason for this prediction; the entire article was based upon fear. Indeed, the market had not even opened yet. Instead of letting my own fears create a negative spiral of reaction based upon things I could not control, I decided to direct my energies upon something I could control: my own personal stability in a world of chaos. Utilizing the metaphysical principle of power in numbers, I emailed several friends inviting them to do the same thing. One email went to another, and the next thing I knew, I had begun to call it The Stability Project.
Yes, it is important to know what goes on in the news as the laws and events do affect each of us; it's important to make informed decisions. However, it is more important to be the stability we need now, not seeking it through material aspects or in relationships, but instead seeking it within ourselves from our own inner divine reference point. In this way we are able to facilitate the greatest positive change in the world.
I invite you to participate in The Stability Project. Do it your own way, utilizing your talents in the way you feel best. When you become the positive influence you wish to see in the world, the results are profound, reaching far beyond your own awareness. I'm just one person with the intention of making a difference. I invite you to do the same.
